Online gaming

Do you like online games? A lot of people play them, and they are increasing in popularity among both boys and girls. Some may think that they are all bad, but I am here to tell you that they can also be good.

The Pros are that they can improve eye-hand coordination. They can improve your memory because you have to remember how to move without looking, also knowing where everything is without having to check every time. There are many life skills you can learn from online gaming like Leadership, taking risks,. One life skill is problem-solving. Every game you win there is a challenge in the next round. It improves your multitasking skills. Learning how to win the game while trying to beat your opponent is an example of this. It also improves your social skills because you can play with other people or your online friends.

Though the pros can be very good there are also cons to online gaming. Online gaming can become addictive because you are spending too much time on the game and not outside or with your friends and family. There is also violence in online gaming because if you spend a lot of time on a game and you don't win you will probably be mad, and you can take your madness out on your family. Another con of playing online games is your ability to concentrate because if you wanted to do something in the game but you did not you will probably concentrate on the game and not real life, such as doing homework, sports, reading, school. Another strong con is that it causes depression and anxiety. It can do this by isolating yourself from your friends because you are playing the game so much. When you play the game so much and then you are not thinking about the real world.

Online gaming has positive and negative effects. Limiting the amount of time you're on it would probably be the best thing for you. Remembering that it is just a game, not real life.
